Sneak Preview
What's on tap for family fun and kids activities this weekend? You'll find lots of egg hunts and bunny visits on Saturday and Sunday in Triangle towns. Kick the weekend off with a free concert on Friday night in Cary, and enjoy a free frog festival with games, crafts, live animals and more on Saturday in Apex. If you're looking for bargain books and kids activities, don't miss the The Wake Libraries' Book Sale & Festival, which runs through Sunday in Raleigh.

For out-of-town getaways, head to the North Carolina Zoo, in Asheboro, where special summer entertainment areas open this weekend. Or on Saturday, visit the Reed Gold Mine, in Midland, N.C., where you can enjoy a spring festival and try to "strike it rich."
